SIM Technology to Develop Dual-Mode TD-SCDMA/GSM Phones for LG

Chinese SIM Technology has announced that it will develop dual-mode mobile phones supporting TD-SCDMA and GSM standards for Korea's LG Electronics. These handsets will then be sold under the LG brand and through LG's distribution channels. LG expects this cooperation to help it gain a foothold in the Chinese 3G market.
